John’s Campaign was founded by Julia Jones, daughter of June who lived with Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia, and Nicci Gerrard, daughter of Alzheimer’s sufferer Doctor John Gerrard who sadly passed in 2014 after a prolonged hospital admission. Our first pop up event took place at Redcroft last week! The Land Girls, who previously starred on TV’s ‘THE VOICE,’ wowed us all with their entertaining performance and fabulous voices as they sung their hearts out to Great British tunes. It’s the time of year for our influenza vaccinations and, as Director of Operations, I am right there in line to get mine done and know that I will have the vaccination to protect me from flu this year. Once again I booked my appointment at Boots and it was great to have the same person giving me my vaccination as last year. We went through the health check first and then I signed the consent form.
