Who needs the Caribbean for pirates when Poole harbour offers its own (more friendly and less rum-scented) version? D took to the decks when the Brownsea Island ferry was overrun with this fella in the photo! [No treasure or cutlasses were involved in the making of this day out].
Okay, so they were shy tigers. Or lions. Or perhaps not even cats at all, but there was a fantastic day out in the making at marvellous Longleat Safari Park where the animals might be hiding but fun was there for the taking.
There’s nothing plain about a little plane spotting!
PHEW, May was also a busy month here at Apple House care home. Following a key worker meeting about attending the Theatre in Southampton to see Warhorse, it was swiftly booked. Milosz (Deputy Manager) said: “What a great production it was! We all absolutely loved it, and the tasty meal out too. C has chosen to see Miss Saigon when it comes to Bournemouth.” – we can’t wait!
Also discussed in a key worker meeting was J’s desire to visit Swanage, to take a ride on a steam train, and here he is…It was a popular choice with all who decided to join in!
Some people just want a free ride!
Longleat’s monkeys are far less shy than their lions, it seems.
