It’s the time of year for our influenza vaccinations and, as Director of Operations, I am right there in line to get mine done and know that I will have the vaccination to protect me from flu this year. We’re feeling festive – yes, I know. It’s too early. We’ve only just had Halloween and Bonfire Night. We don’t care! Halloween: The night of 31 October, the eve of All Saints’ Day, often celebrated by children dressing up in frightening masks and costumes. Halloween is thought to be associated with the Celtic festival Samhain, when ghosts and spirits were believed to be abroad. Halloween to us means FUN! CQC Rates Apple House as ‘Good’

Our Care Quality Commission (CQC) report has been published and we are proud to share with you details of our amazing report which has the rating of ‘Good’ in all 5 areas of Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led.
