Congratulations to two of our wonderful team members who have recently been promoted to Deputy Manager! We were thrilled to welcome Carly to our management team at Summerwood Care Home, New Milton and Mandy to our management team at Redcroft, Bournemouth. Carly joined our organisation in 2013 and Mandy in 2015. Both joined us as support workers, quickly demonstrating their professionalism and outstanding commitment to their roles, their teams and to the people they supported. How Creative Minds artists make a real difference within Apple House care homes: In October 2015, I joined Creative Minds, a social enterprise set up to make art accessible to everybody, including people in care homes and residential homes for adults with learning disabilities. I am based in New Milton and deliver regular art sessions in the surrounding area including Lymington, Christchurch, Lyndhurst and Ringwood, and there are other Creative Minds artists delivering art sessions all around the country encouraging people who find it hard to access other art and craft courses by taking the sessions directly to them.
