Apple House care home in Bournemouth will be getting a makeover while residents are away on holiday next week! It will be all hands on deck for the transformation! Included in the schedule of works is a new cloakroom, new shower room, redecoration including blue walls for D’s room, as requested by D, and fresh new soft furnishings. A first for Apple House care homes, was a day of bushcrafting with Sunrise Bushcraft of Hampshire. “D and J both participated in the bushcraft adventure. Following a nature trail, they identified different leaves and brought home a picture of the leaves that they had collected. Nuts were then collected for use on the fire.Both got involved in making dream catchers and now have them hanging in their rooms.
